We help agents understand our risk appetite right away with transparent underwriting rules. We offer submission-oriented production goals and limited distribution models that allow appointed agents to have a niche value in their respective markets. This effectively supports agents in any industry cycle.
What products do we offer?
AmeriTrust Small Commercial offers a wide range of Workers’ Compensation and Business Owners Policy (BOP) coverage options at competitive prices, with excellent claims, loss control, and customer service. We have a broad appetite for Workers’ Compensation business with over 250 eligible class codes.
Our BOP has three levels of coverage – Platinum, Gold, and Silver. Businesses can select the option that best suits their needs. The AmeriTrust Small Commercial BOP is especially attractive to small business owners because we offer a multi-year rate lock option in most states. For many industries, fleet commercial auto, and/or umbrella coverage can be added to our BOP policies. Cyber and Professional Liability add-on coverages are also available to BOP policyholders. How do I get appointed with AmeriTrust Small Commercial?
To get appointed with us, simply submit your information via our online form and we will get back to you with next steps as soon as possible. Please note that additional documentation will be required before your appointment is confirmed. Once our review has been completed and the appointment is confirmed, a member of our team will schedule an orientation call for you and your team.
The agency as well as the agent who is appointed must have appropriate licensing in the states in which we will appoint them. Please note that we run background checks for all appointment requests.

Which states are we currently looking to appoint?
AmeriTrust Small Commercial operates in all 50 states, so all agents are welcome to apply! However, there are currently 15 states that we have enhanced interest in for recruitment purposes. See the list below for the states that we are targeting to increase our agent representation:

Who does AmeriTrust Small Commercial insure?
Our appetite is broad for both our Workers’ Compensation products and our Business Owners’ Policies (BOPs) for our Small Business Insurance solutions. Our target classes for Workers’ Comp includes florists, landscapers, clothing and textile manufacturers, wilders, plumbers, furniture movers, and many others. How do I get appointed as an independent agent?
Independent agents are welcome to request an appointment! To get started with AmeriTrust Small Commercial, fill out our online agent appointment form. Be advised that all agents who apply must be licensed and are subject to a background check.
